                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF M. L. KING BOULEVARD MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY,
                   FEBRUARY 2, 1991, FROM 11:30 A.M. TO 4:15
                   P.M. FOR THE PRESENTATION OF A "STARS AND
                   STRIPES RALLY" SPONSORED BY MRS. ROBIN HAMID
                   UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of M. L. King Boulevard (total closure) between 

       Georgia Avenue and Market Street on Saturday, February 2, 1991,
       from 11:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. for the presentation of a "Stars and 

       Stripes Rally" under the sponsorship of Mrs. Robin Hamid, 
provided
       that the sponsor shall set out and pick up flasher barricades,
       road closed and detour signs in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all times, an
       access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
